Hidden address, official cadastre, solar simulation: what a property page shows
A listing is more than photos and a price. On MyImmobilier.ch, a property page can bring together several tools to help you picture the property before you even book a viewing.
The official cadastral map
The “Cadastral map” tab overlays the data of Swiss official surveying (source: swisstopo and the cantons): plot boundaries, numbers, buildings. A way to see exactly where the boundaries of the land run, without travelling.
The roof solar simulation
For houses, villas and apartment buildings, an “Estimate solar potential” button uses imagery of the building to calculate the number of panels that could be installed and the estimated annual output.
Street view and the virtual tour
When the agency provides them, a 360° virtual tour and a Google street view complement the usual photos.
When the exact address is not disclosed
Some agencies prefer not to publish the exact address of a property (occupied property, discreet owner...). In that case, the page shows an approximate perimeter on the map rather than a precise point, and the street and number appear nowhere. The perimeter is deliberately offset: its centre is never the real address.
All this information is optional: it only appears if the agency has filled it in for the property concerned.
